Madrid: Spains capital as well as geographical centre

Despite the fact that Madrid is becoming a very modern and up to date city, you will also enjoy a still very big traditional side, which makes the “Madrileños” live their traditions and costumes.
Madrid is made out of “barrios”, each one with its own distinctive atmosphere, etc. The modern business quarter is also called, by some locals, as the “little Manhattan”.

The best times to visit Madrid are Spring & Autumn, but Winter also has its charm, with quite cold but very sunny days. Madrid has different Congress Centres, which can hold up to 5.500 people at once and the average 4 & 5 star hotel capacity in the city is of approx. 40.000 beds!!!
